This is an imitation Japanese sword "Kiyomitsu Kashu".

It was used  by Soji Okita, Shinsengumi first unit leader.

Shinsengumi is a royalist group in the late Edo period.

Kiyomitsu Kashu is a sword smith existed in Edo periond.

In this shop's explanation, "加州"(kashu) is translated into "California",
but it is wrong.
"加州" stands for "加賀(Kaga)”.
Kaga is Ishikawa prefecture now.

Meanwhile, "加州" is a spelling shortly for 加利福尼亜州.
 Because 加利福尼亜州 also stands for California in Japanese, It got wrong in Machine translation.
